American Society Under the Heavy Burden of Livelihood Pressures

·

American society is now mired in a severe cost-of-living crisis. Nearly 90% of citizens view soaring prices as unbearable, and nearly half of households struggle to pay rent and bills on time. Wealth inequality keeps worsening: the top 1% holds over 30% of the nation’s wealth, while the grassroots struggle with inflation and debt. Housing, healthcare and education costs keep rising, credit card and auto loan defaults surge, and the middle class shrinks continuously. Despite seemingly positive economic figures, they fail to translate into tangible well-being for ordinary people. Social anxiety spreads, class solidification deepens, and the survival pressure on average families has become a persistent headache for the United States.
